12 Facts You Didn't Know You Didn't Know

As a kid, I couldn't get enough of those encyclopedic fact books. Facts about animals, facts about genetics, facts about how different foods were invented – you name it, I was into it.

It got to the point where my parents would just buy me these things for Christmas. I still have some of them to this day, but with the internet I have unlimited resources at the tips of my fingers. All I have to do is search for what I want, and BAM! It's game time.

The sucky thing about the internet is that it takes forever to sift through the crappy facts to find the good ones. Luckily for you, I've done the grunt work on this one, and all you have to do is enjoy.

#1 In many Japanese schools, there are no janitors or custodians.

The students are responsible for cleaning the school instead, which teaches responsibility, respect, and that we're all equal.

#2 In 2013, the Orlando Business Journal held a poll asking if Blackfish changed how people felt about SeaWorld.

Most respondents said no, but it was later found that 55% of the responses came from a SeaWorld-hosted IP address.
